Genetic & Biomarker Assessment
Genetic & Biomarker Assessment
Eingedi's advanced assessment pairs a blood biomarker panel with a targeted genetic panel of 90 SNPs. The SNPs were chosen because each one maps to a body system that can be acted on through nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle or protocol design. Genetics shows where a client's body is predisposed to struggle, and bloodwork shows what is happening now. Read together, and alongside the client's intake answers, they produce a personalized blueprint.
Blood biomarkers (8)
- hs-CRP: systemic inflammation
- Fasting insulin, fasting glucose and HbA1c: glucose and insulin control
- Homocysteine: methylation efficiency and vascular stress
- Ferritin: iron storage
- ApoB: atherogenic lipoprotein particle burden
- Vitamin D (25-OH): vitamin D status
Core genetic systems (10)
- Lipoprotein & Cardiovascular Risk: how the body produces and clears cholesterol-carrying particles, including inherited risk for elevated lipoprotein(a). Interpreted alongside ApoB.
- Systemic Inflammation: the body's inflammatory set point, meaning how strongly it mounts an inflammatory response and how efficiently it resolves one. Interpreted alongside hs-CRP.
- Oxidative Stress: how well the body's own antioxidant systems neutralize cellular stress.
- Methylation & Homocysteine: how efficiently the body processes folate and B12, which affects energy, detoxification and cardiovascular health. Interpreted alongside homocysteine.
- Glucose & Insulin Control: insulin production and sensitivity, blood sugar regulation, and how meal timing interacts with the body's internal clock. Interpreted alongside fasting insulin, glucose and HbA1c.
- Vitamin D Metabolism: how the body produces, transports and responds to vitamin D. This helps explain why some people stay low despite supplementing.
- Iron Metabolism: iron absorption and storage, including common inherited variants linked to iron overload. Interpreted alongside ferritin.
- Omega-3 Metabolism: how efficiently the body converts plant-based omega-3s into the active forms, EPA and DHA. This shows whether a client benefits more from direct fish-oil sources.
- Appetite & Energy Regulation: hunger and fullness signaling, and how the body balances food intake with energy use.
- Connective Tissue: collagen structure and the resilience of tendons and ligaments, which is relevant to injury risk and recovery.
Intake-triggered systems (2)
- Gut Guardian, activated by frequent GI symptoms: lactose tolerance, genetic risk related to gluten sensitivity, sugar digestion, histamine clearance and gut immune signaling.
-
Lifestyle Regulation & Recovery Capacity, activated by poor sleep or limited recovery:
- how quickly the body clears caffeine and other stimulants
- natural circadian timing
- sleep drive
- stress reactivity and cortisol sensitivity
- serotonin regulation
- mitochondrial efficiency and metabolic flexibility
- muscle fiber tendency (power vs. endurance)
- cardiovascular response to stress
An aggressive fat-loss goal at intake adds a metabolic stress and insulin sensitivity emphasis to the blueprint.
What clients receive
- Personalized supplement recommendations
- Nutrition and lifestyle guidance on caffeine, meal timing, sleep and training recovery
- Insights into stress, cortisol and vitamin D signaling that inform hormone and recovery strategy
- A clearer foundation for peptide protocol design
